The first three shots are now totally done. I'm now slotting them into premiere over the top of my pre-vis / alpha (image below). One of the shots looked particularly nice so i turned it into a piece of concept art; i rendered it out portrait (below).

The shot i'm working on at the moment is a bit tricky getting it to look exactly right. It should be a pretty dynamic shot - a very illustrated graphic look - below is a quickly drawn up version of what i hope it will look like - but better and obviously with particles and a vignette etc to spice it up. The shot shows the Eskimo boy walking (not running like in this image) across the plane in sihlouette and shadow.

I'll post a screenshot when this is done. Finally, my promotional postcards are designed and ready to be sent off for print. (image below). It's actually a rendered 3d image - but i adjusted and exaggerated the shaders i'm using in my film to get that "2D" look.

Oh yea and here's a quick video showing the rope reactor stuff i was working on. I got rope reactor and gravity and wind etc etc working fine now so my balloon is now all systems go.
